1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 They will say, "You used to come at us from the right." 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 Fruits! And they shall be honoured. 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 delicious to those who drink it 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 Who said: art thou of those who confess to the doctrine of Resurrection: 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 What, do we then not die 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this better as a welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a torment for the unjust? 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 Its spathes are like the prickly pear. 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
