Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him). 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
