We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
