THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
