And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
