Forgiver (Ghaafer)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ha Mim. 1 The revelation of this Book is from Allah, Exalted in Power, Full of Knowledge,- 2 The Forgiver of sin and the Accepter of repentance, who is severe in punishment and Infinite in His Bounty. There is no God but Him. All shall return to Him. 3 Only those who deny the truth dispute God's signs. Do not let their activity in the land deceive you. 4 Before them, the people of Nooh and the groups after them had denied; and every nation intended to apprehend its Noble Messenger, and they fought along with falsehood to avert the truth, so I seized them; so how did My punishment turn out? 5 Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire! 6 Those who bear the Throne, and those round about it proclaim the praise of their Lord, and believe in Him, and they ask forgiveness for those who believe: 'Our Lord, Thou embracest every thing in mercy and knowledge; therefore forgive those who have repented, and follow Thy way, and guard them against the chastisement of Hell. 7 Our Lord! And make them enter the Gardens of Eden which thou hast promised them, with such of their fathers and their wives and their descendants as do right. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Mighty, the Wise. 8 And protect them from evils. And whosoever Thou shalt protect from evils on that Day, him Thou hast of a surety taken into mercy and that: it is an achievement mighty. 9
