Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59
