Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 and Ad and Pharaoh, the brothers of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
