AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
