Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
