▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
