I swear by all that you can see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
