Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
