The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 And who glide with ease. 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 Even if we should be decayed bones? 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
