Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 Who know what you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
