Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
