Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
