The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
