Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning hours 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
