Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
