The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
