The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
