The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
