The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
