Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
