The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
