The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 closed around them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
