Thorns (Al-Masad)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him). 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5
