Al-Sajdah 3 of 3
Assuredly We vouchsafed the Book unto Musa; so be thou not in doubt in thy receiving it. And We appointed it to be a guidance unto the Children of Is'rail. 23 When they persevered and firmly believed Our revelations We appointed learned men among them who guided them by Our command. 24 Surely thy Lord will distinguish between them on the Resurrection Day, touching that whereon they were at variance. 25 [But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They say, "If what you say is true, when will the final triumph come?" 28 Tell them: “If the unbelievers were to believe on the Day of Judgement that will not avail them. For then they will be granted no respite.” 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
