▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
