(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
