Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
