The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and spreading shade 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
