O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein! 77
