Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
