Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
