Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
