The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
