Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
