The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
