The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
