The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
