The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
