T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down this Qur’an upon you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to fall into hardship! (Either because he used to pray at length during the night or because he was distressed due to the disbelievers not accepting faith.) 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, and underneath the soil. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 Hence, let not anyone who does not believe in its coming and follows [but] his own desires divert thee from [belief in] it, lest thou perish! 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he threw it down, and all of a sudden, it turned into a fast-moving serpent. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
