The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 and the night that falls, 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
