۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
