The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
