Messengers, eat what is wholesome and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We vie in good works for them? Nay, but they are not aware. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 who give, whatever they give in charity, with their hearts trembling at the thought that they are destined to return to their Lord; 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or dost thou [O Muhammad] ask of them any worldly recompense? But [they ought to know that] recompense from thy Sustainer is best, since He is the best of providers! 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Even if We were to grant them mercy and rescue them from hardship, they would still blindly persist in their rebellion. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein! 77
