Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
