Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
